You'd think my family would be used to family photos by now, but nope, they sure aren't. Even the mere mention of family photos elicits groans, eye-rolls and just getting up and walking out of the room mid-conversation. And this year was no different. But I was able to get a few shots in before all the cussing. :) Living in Washington state gives you access to the most beautiful scenery and backdrops. You're almost doing yourself a disservice if you live in the PNW but aren't taking ... Read More
Keep Explorin’
For Mother's and Father's Day this year, in lieu of gifts, we opted to take my parents out to explore Seattle. They've always wanted to do the typical touristy things, but both hate the traffic and the crowds and don't really know where to go or how to get there. Enter Davey and Jessica. And Yelp. Huz, Trenton and Jackson got to go on about ... Read More

Proud Mama doesn't even BEGIN to describe what I was feeling this last weekend. It was Trenton's first time drumming in main service at church and he killed it. He's only 14, but his talent level (and his attitude) is unreal to me. I mean, I can't clap on beat, but whatever. Here are a few of my favorite shots! ... Read More

Here we are...another year older and another year... Riiiiight. :) This year Trenton started 9th grade, Jackson 6th grade and Aidon 4th. Last year our school district moved 6th grade to the junior high buildings, to help with overcrowding in the elementary schools. They plan on moving 6th grade back to the elementary schools someday soon, but the bottom line is that Jackson is now at the same school with his older brother. Now, he gets to walk home from school with Trenton and all his ... Read More
