Don't let the name fool you: it's a funny name, but NOT a funny hike! First things first. Poo Poo Point is located on Tiger Mountain in Issaquah, WA. It was about a 45 minute drive from Puyallup (where we live) with a pretty incredible view of Lake Sammamish and the town of Issaquah. It was cloudy when we were up there, but apparently on a clear day, you can also see Mt. Rainier too. Oh, and it's called Poo Poo Point because of the steam whistle sounds heard throughout the mountains in ... Read More
Vegas – 2017 Family Vacation
We're baaaaack! Vegas was a bit of a whirlwind, but oh so fun. We swam, we ate, we sunburned. And we're happy to be home. :) Taking the kids was fun. Mother’s Day

I have to be honest: Christmas this year was a bit of a blur. But in a good way. After months of planning and shopping, it all went by so fast! A little part (okay, a big part) of me is excited to relax now, but regardless, we had an incredible time celebrating with family and friends. Our annual Friends Christmas Photo at the candlelight service at church. It's one of my favorite services of the year, to see all the candles lit and everyone in their fancy clothes and the guys without flat ... Read More
Disneyland Pt 4
My goal is to finish blogging about Disneyland before the end of the year. Keep your fingers crossed, folks. This was day 1 of 2 at California Adventure. We got in early and made a beeline for the Pier so we could get lots of rides in on California Screamin'. When we got there though, Aidon had a little freak out moment and decided he didn't want to go on the coaster after all. Which was fine by me. 9am is a little early to be scared outta my pants. Huz, Trenton and Jackson got to go on about ... Read More
