I went to a Women's Small Group last week and for the Ice Breaker, they made us find another woman in the room and ask her what her favorite things about fall were. I found a very nice lady and she asked me what I loved about fall, to which I went on for a good 4 minutes about boots and scarves and flannels and woodsy candles and hot Starbucks drinks. Then I asked her what she loved about fall, to which she replied, the beauty of the trees, the colors or the leaves, the crispy air, the foggy ... Read More
Favorite Chili Recipe
As much as I love using my crockpot, I have yet to master a good soup or chili recipe. I've tried tons, but more often than not, it turns out bland and watery. My favorite plaid picks are above...and if you can't already tell I have a thing for red buffalo plaid. It works for fall, but also has a ... Read More
Pumpkin Patch 2015
Our Pumpkin Patch Trip was short and sweet this year. We walked around for a total of 24 minutes before throwing in the towel wheelbarrow and piling back in the car. We had fun, but it started raining when we got there and none of us were dressed for wet weather. It also didn't help that everyone in the Puyallup zip code was at the same pumpkin patch. It was soooooo crowded. And LOUD. Screaming Toddlers, loud. Yes, I know we used to have screaming toddlers. But after a number of years, you ... Read More
