I have to be honest: Christmas this year was a bit of a blur. But in a good way. After months of planning and shopping, it all went by so fast! A little part (okay, a big part) of me is excited to relax now, but regardless, we had an incredible time celebrating with family and friends.
Our annual Friends Christmas Photo at the candlelight service at church. It’s one of my favorite services of the year, to see all the candles lit and everyone in their fancy clothes and the guys without flat bills on. 🙂
I don’t think I would’ve gotten through the year without these 2 women. There is nothing in the world like good girlfriends and I hit the jackpot with them.
It’s not always easy to get a good family photo…
We finally got one! Take 17.
Then we tried to get a group photo of all our kids and this was the best we got. I can’t wait for the day that we put this on one of their wedding slideshows.
Of course we had to get a photo with Mr. Murphy! He is adjusting pretty well to our home. Still has his fair share of accidents but with a face like his, it’s hard to get mad.
This guy spoiled me rotten this year. We decided not to do gifts for each other, except that he did anyway. And I didn’t.
So now I’m on Amazon buying him all the things.
Do you know what’s better than Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bars? Having a sister who works at Starbucks and brings you Cranberry Bliss Bars on Christmas morning.
I only got a few photos of the boys opening their presents this year. I love having pictures of them, but I always feel like while I’m capturing the moment, I’m missing the actual live moment. It’s a balance for sure, but I decided to put the camera down this year and be present.
Last but not least, I found this sweater at H&M and I think it deserves to be acknowledged.
I hope you all had an unforgettable holiday with your loved ones!
