This just in: I am the world’s biggest pushover. When Huz first mentioned the thought of getting another dog, I rolled my eyes and listed 19 different reasons why that was a bad idea. They’re expensive, they stink up the house, the kids will eventually get bored, we’re never home, I like my shoes, etc. And I was firm in my convictions…until we found this guy.
He is our family Christmas present and I don’t think I could love him more. He is so sweet and cuddly and has puppy breath and the cutest little tail!
Don’t get me wrong, he’s naughty. He’s peed in almost every room and doesn’t listen to anyone. But he’s oh-so-cute.
Murphy is a Shih Tzu and is 2 months old. And he has every single person in our family wrapped around his little paw. (And yes, surprisingly so, I’ve become that woman who carries her dog around like a baby. I have a little pet carrier that I’ve been using a purse and even I roll my eyes at myself, but I can’t help it.) IT’S SO FLUFFY!
I’ve already Christmas shopped for him, bought him special little feeding bowls, and tuck him in at night, which is sadly, more than I do for my actual children. (But if they’d cuddle in my lap, maybe they’d get equal treatment. I’m just sayin’.)
