I’ve given a mini-review of this foundation on SnapChat (jessicanjones) but I thought I’d expand a little bit on the blog. 🙂
I’ll just tell you right off the bat, that I love it. I have been a MAC Studio Fix fan for years. My biggest complaints about Studio Fix was that it was too oily and I could never quite get the color match I needed. But I loved the coverage, so I just kept using it.
But after seeing so many posts of Becca Products on Instagram, I decided to switch things up a bit. I went with the Becca Ultimate Coverage Creme and it did not disappoint. The coverage is amazing and I don’t feel oily at the end of the day. The only negative thing I can think of is that after I work out and my face is all sweaty, I am sweating colored beads of foundation. I know. That’s gross. But that’s something I never noticed with Studio Fix. (I workout on my lunch break, so I don’t always have the opportunity to take off all my makeup before running. I felt the need to disclaim that since the obvious solution is just to wash my face.)
I also found that the Tan color in the Becca Foundation matched my face better than ALL of the colors in MAC. (MAC was always a little too orange for me.) It did take me a couple of tries to get it right though. #ThanksSephoraReturnPolicy
With summer coming though, I think I’ll try the Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation. It’s a little lighter coverage and looks like it has a bit of shimmer to it.
I also bought the Ultimate Coverage Concealing Creme and this stuff is awesome. It feels more sticky, than creamy, but it stays on and for me that’s all that matters. I came from using the Nars Concealer, which I liked, but this Becca concealer will be my new go-to.
The next thing I want to try is the Under Eye Brightening Corrector, because motherhood. I’ll ya know what I think!
