I am so excited to show you all the update on the dining room wall! It’s FINALLY finished and I could not be happier with how it turned out.
This is how the wall looked when we moved in. We knew we wanted to open it up, but I also liked the idea of having some separation between the dining room and living room. I was inspired by one of my favorite bloggers and you can visit her blog here.
Here’s the wall after we cut the window…
Thankfully, my incredible cousin came over to finish the drywall. Every time I walked too close to the wall, I’d scratch my arm up.
And here’s the original window when we bought it from Second Use. Can you believe it was only $40?
After a few coats of paint and some sanding, and the help of my brother-in-law and Huz…
..here’s our finished product.
It’s literally one of my favorite things. It just adds a little more character to the room.
Next up for the dining room is a wine bar in the corner. But I think the next house project we’ll tackle is the pallet board wall in the living room.
Happy DIY-ing!
