Has it really been 2 whole weeks since I’ve been on here?
Nope. It’s been 3.
Ew. That’s gross.
I wish I could say I’ve been off doing important & amazing things, but HELL-O. It’s the best week of the year. The week all of us have been waiting for.
That’s right. It’s HBO Watchathon Week. It’s like Spring Break for adults. All episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I think next year, I will save a few vacation days for this week…
But between the episodes, I’ve also managed to fit in a couple things:
Would have been a great family photo…if not for Aidon looking like a zombie. And Trenton’s hair. His hair is actually super, duper cute, but the angle that the photo was taken makes it look like he has a flat-top. (Think more Brooklyn Beckham and less Detlef Schrempf.)
I LOVE this photo of these two. They adore each other.
Yep, still running. Had to buy myself some new running shoes because I was starting to lose motivation. And that worked. For about 2 weeks.
The thing that frustrates me THEE MOST is that, to date, I’ve lost 6 pounds. No, there’s not a “1” missing in front of the 6. Just SIX pounds. And it’s been 4 weeks. 10 years ago, I could exercise for 5 days (still eating Red Robin Burgers and Caramel Frapps) and hit my goal weight by Friday.
It’s true what they say…the older you get, the harder it is.
Is it ironic that the frozen yogurt pics are directly after my rant about not being able to lose any weight?
That will be filed under: Light Bulb Moments
Anyway, I took the boys out for FroYo because it was next door to the dry cleaners and I don’t feel like one needs a reason to go to FroYo.
Recently discovered a TON of makeup tutorials on YouTube (this gal is my fave) and was inspired to clean out my own makeup drawer. Yes, that’s all MAC eyeshadow. Yes, that is only the browns and neutrals pictured. Yes, there are 3 drawers not pictured.
Yes, I feel shame.
So I dusted it all off and have made a point to use it this week. So if you happen to see me at 7-11 returning RedBox movies dressed in sweats but wearing enough makeup to scare Nicki Minaj, that’s why.
Trenton was in the Daffodil Parade this year playing a small bass drum. Such. A. Hunk.
I mean, not as hunky as this guy. He offered to chaperone and walked the parade with the band. (He was secretly hoping one of the drummers would be a no-show so that he could play in the band. But you didn’t hear that from me.)
The weather was great. Just a little cold, but the rain held out.
And that’s a wrap! It’s always a mystery to me how we can be so, so busy, but not actually doing anything…but I guess that’s just life. 🙂
