The photos that didn’t make the cut to Instagram…
Aidon fell asleep on the way to church Saturday night. He was OUT. I had to shake him awake once we arrived. He must’ve needed it though!
Jackson wants to do everything Dad does. So when Huz bought himself a pair of running leggings to jog in, Jackson had to do the same. Except that he didn’t actually own a pair of running leggings. But that didn’t stop him. He just pulled out a pair of Scrooge tights and voila! Running leggings he has. I attempted to argue with him that they aren’t really appropriate to wear to school…but I’m just so tired.
Huz fell asleep last night with book in hand. I was painting my nails and I remember thinking, wow, he’s actually been reading a long time! But no. He had been SLEEPING for a long time. 🙂
This last weekend was Trenton’s first weekend drumming in J High. Because Huz started out the exact same way, this is a HUGE deal to us and pretty emotional. And like the Smother that I am, I went to Thursday night rehearsal so I could capture a few photos onstage.
He’s getting a few pointers from Dad on the worship song. He was really listening and taking it all in…not the typical teenage behavior of I-Already-Know-Better-Than-You-Do-So-Just-Leave-Me-Alone.
Sunday afternoon was spent in Gig Harbor. We found a new place to eat and took a walk around the harbor. These life vests were available if you wanted to take a walk down to the water.
Of course we’re going to put them on.
Yes, we’re still about 30 feet away from the water.
Yes, we took them off after this picture and talked down sans life vests.
We’re special.
