Last week while I was at work, I received a phone call from Comcast letting me know that the technician was at our house and ready for our appointment.
I had completely forgotten about the Comcast Appointment! My first thought was just to re-schedule, but then I remembered that they usually charge a fee, and there was NO way I was going to be charged twice.
So I quickly got my stuff together and bolted out the door. I got home within 10 minutes and was feeling pretty good. Luckily, the techs were very nice and understanding about my complete lack of planning. Everything was okay and they got to work. One of the things they were doing was installing a new cable box in our bedroom. (I know…I can watch The Voice while I’m in BED!!!!) The tech asked where the bedroom was and I jumped to my feet and led the way.
Unfortunately, this is what we both walked into.
<Insert nervous laughter here.>
I turned into a human hurricane and frantically shoved anything I could get my hands on under the bed, under the covers, under the dresser or back into drawers. He assured me that he’d seen worse, but I think he was just being nice.
Selfie to Huz, showing him his early Christmas present. (Cable in the bedroom.) 🙂
Oh, life. It just doesn’t get better than this.
