We have a longstanding tradition of celebrating Huz’s birthday in Seattle. (By longstanding, I mean 3 years. That’s a pretty long time to commit to something when you have 5.5 kids between you.)
We always eat lunch at The Crabpot, right on the waterfront and finish the day on Alki at Uncle Steve’s house. We do a little sight-seeing in between but the day never has an agenda. I think that’s why it’s one of the things I look forward to the most. It’s relaxing and there’s no time table. We just walk from place to place, being tourists in our own town.
I couldn’t decide if I wanted to the usual Crab Bucket or to try something different. Huz was getting impatient with me, as it was 2:00pm and he was starving. I think he’s yelling at me to JUST PICK SOMETHING here. 🙂
Okay, okay, okay. I’ll go with the Crab Bucket. Sheesh.
Love this couple and their commitment to getting the perfect photo. Hahaha.
Who would’ve thought that when we were cheerleading together in high school that we’d still be friends?! And now neither of us can touch our toes but we can still do most of our old cheers. But that’s a whole other story. 🙂
I can’t say enough nice things about my husbands friends. That sounds sarcastic, but I’m being 100% genuine. I am so thankful for friends who have not only his back, but my back too. I always know that they have OUR best interest, as a couple, in mind. Getting to do life with these people is the best.
Perfect sunset to end a pretty great day. Happiest of birthdays to you Huz, I love you. Here’s to your 33rd year!
