1. 4 Favorite bands you loved in high school
High school. high school, high school. I don’t know if I can remember what I was listening to in high school. Chumbawamba? Shania Twain? Aqua? Probably all of them. I know that I had Jock Jams in my CD player. I vaguely remember singing that Freshman song. Oh, loved Weezer. I wanted to destroy that sweater. And to this day, I can still “rap” (I use that term very loosely) all of the lyrics to TLC’s No Scrubs.
2. 4 go to meals you’d love to learn to cook or can cook really well
I’d have to say lasagna first. I use a secret ingredient. It’s so simple. It’s just an extra pound of – …wait. We just met.
I make a super easy dip recipe, that’s literally 3 ingredients, but the best dip in the world. It’s cream cheese, cottage cheese and an insane amount of garlic powder. But you can only dip Ruffles in it. No tortilla chips. No Baked Lays. Ruffles Originals only. It’s great for large parties. But bad for when you have to be in contact with other people the next day. #garlicneverdies
I would love to learn to bake. I feel like I can cook…but baking is a-whole-nother ballgame. I can’t think of a 4th thing…
3. 4 necessities to your daily life
Hot water with lemon. This is a recent necessity, but I’m loving it as an alternative to coffee. Sleep…I need my sleep. I only need about 6 solid hours, but 6 hours nonetheless. Hugs from all of my boys. Especially Huz, when he gets home from work. There is something about just being squoze that is so weirdly therapeutic for me. Squoze. Is that a word? I also need sugar. On a daily basis. Some form, whether it be a stick of gum or a
pint of Ben & Jerry’s cookie.
4. 4 makeup necessities you must have if you could only have 4 on
Concealer, because the bags under my eyes aren’t designer. Eyeliner, because I’m Asian. My faux lashes, so that I look like I’m awake. And my bronzer, because I live in Washington.
5. 4 favorite apps on your iPhone or iPad
