In the words of the great Carrie Bradshaw, “I have been cheating on fashion for furniture.”
If you’ve been following along for any amount of time, you probably know that we are new homeowners. With stark white walls. And hardly any furniture. Which means…I have to stop myself from running to Target every payday.
But instead? I’ll make a plan.
Welcome to Project Home 2014. Our list of To Do’s for the year!
Finish the Master Bedroom! I can’t move on to the kitchen or laundry room or ANYTHING until I finish this project. Here’s what we’ve done…
And here’s what we’ve got left to do…
And I need to put some photos in those frames!
This corner has got me stumped. It’s a small little space back there, which makes it tough. I’m open to any and all suggestions.
I’d also like to finish my office, because it currently looks like this…
It needs some paint, some shelves, some wall art…oh and a desk. Minor detail.
I’d also like to do this bathroom. It needs some major love. And some major light. It’s hard doing your makeup in a bathroom when you can only see a tiny bit of your face.
And last, if the budget allows, I’d like to start on our kitchen. Our kitchen will probably end up being our Project Home in 2015 AND 2016. We’d like to put in new floors and cabinets, add a dry bar and a wine fridge, install granite countertops and new light fixtures…oh and put up new barn door wainscoting. Soooooooo possibly even Project Home 2017.
And a Farmhouse Table is one of my must-haves. This table is nice, but we need something a bit bigger so that Trenton doesn’t have to sit on the Exercise Ball for every meal.
Kids don’t need to go to college, right?
