I’m learning more and more about Huz each day. This challenge is all about serving him and making him happy.
But today, I really learned what doesn’t make him happy.
He’s not happy when he’s being tickled. He’s especially not happy when he’s being tickled to try and wake him up. He wasn’t happy when I tried to ask him questions before 7am. Nor was he happy when attempted to ask him the same questions after 10pm. (And NO questions during any sporting event.) He wasn’t happy when I accidentally left all of my dresser drawers open. He was definitely not happy when I text him today every hour, on the hour, to tell him the things I like about him. He wasn’t happy when I tried to interrupt his Words With Friends game. Or when I tried to pop a zit on his back. (While he was sleeping.) And last, but not least, I think the most unhappy he got today, was when he was just about to fall asleep and I rolled over and asked, “What do you love about me?” 🙂
But I may have redeemed myself. I offered to give him a back rub. And I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but “Toot, toot Suckas!” I give really good massages. It’s 1 of the 3 Asian traits I brought over: amazing manicures, bad driving and solid massages.
So Huz got a good back rub and now he’s yawning and off to bed.
Which leads me to another thing that doesn’t make him happy: when I stick my finger in his mouth right as he’s yawning.
