I haven’t been to a mall in about a month. I actually can’t remember the last time I was at Nordstrom.
But don’t get too excited. I’ve traded in Nordstrom for Home Depot. And World Market. And Home Goods. And Bed, Bath and Beyond. And Pier 1. And Marshall’s. And Ikea.
I used to get really giddy when I’d see a silver Nordstrom box. And now I get that way when I see an orange Home Depot apron.
Last week I decided we needed a dining room buffet table. I have the perfect spot for it…
See that space? Right underneath the window? And to the right of the ladder? Right there is where I’m thinkin’ would make a great spot for a dining room dresser. So I started looking online and found a few things that would work. And a few things that will work in other spaces too. Hehehe.
But then I started thinking…we have this dresser in our room, that we use, but are looking to replace with Ikea’s Hemnes series. I hate to part with it, because it was my grandmas. But it’s really outdated.
So I made some measurements and it’s exactly the length of the window, and a few inches shorter than the sill. Hmmm….and maybe if I painted it white (and by “I”, I mean Savannah or Lindsay) and bought some new knobs from Anthropologie….
I think it may look preeeeeeeetty awesome here.
The only downside I can think of is that it’s not going to match all of the tools or the light saber in the corner. That’s too bad.
